These beautiful islands are North Andaman, a few nautical miles from Diglipur Jetty. What makes these islands really beautiful and separates them from the rest of the islands is that these two islands are connected by a natural sandbar. It’s like if you are both islands, you see a way kinda thing which is actually a sand bar linking the two islands. And so, while walking on the bar you can move from one island to another.

Andaman Tour

This white, silky sand bar goes inside the sea in times of high tide and surfaces again during high tide.
One can easily reach these islands by taking a boat from Diglipur costing anywhere from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2000. Both runs from early morning until noon. The island also has a small wooden house, where you can climb and enjoy the serene beauty.

The islands also have a bit of coral in the water but they are not very well known and is present in the deep sea as a way coral life can not be experienced here. During high tide, the sand bar disappears leaving a trail of water between the two islands and during low tide the sand bar reappears makes the islands look majestic!
